About

Meet Megan White

Hello there!

I grew up in the central west of NSW, Australia with my family and spending most of our time between the sheep property and small country town home. Books like Rangers Apprentice and Eragon fed a love that grew into love of stories in all their forms; from print books and art to film. I began writing at about the age of sixteen, secreted in my boarding school room and never stopped. Behind every blank stare and through every lecture or long car ride I was conjuring characters and scenes in my head.

I went on to study and work as a Physiotherapist in both Australia and the UK, spending spare moments writing and travelling.

My ongoing fascination with human anatomy and physiology has inspired many a graphite drawing and fuelled the idea behind the Anatomy of Songs. The story grew from the notion that knowledge like this can be used to hurt or heal and that the human body is both robust and fragile at the same time.

I’m so happy you found your way here and would love to connect with you. Please check back here, join my mailing list or follow me on socials for updates!

xx Megan
